Zaccaria Slater is a British designer and food creative. Inspired by Erchen Chang and her “think food, serve design” philosophy, Slater's work explores the social and cultural significance of food and looks at how thoughtful design can elevate our eating experiences, introducing playful elements into the modern home kitchen.
Reminisce is a series of flavours inspired by childhood memories. Slater presents a collection of short interviews, spoken in the native tongue, that tell the stories of four individuals. These memories are collected and packaged as commercially available ‘flavours’ that aim to share the precious moments we enjoy over a meal with loved ones.
